TOM AND JERRY
What you need …
10 eggs
1 lb. 10X confectioner’s sugar
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Nutmeg
What you do …
Carefully separate the eggs into two bowls. Any yolk in the whites will hinder making fluffy peaks later.
Gradually add powdered sugar to the yolks, beating until a stiff cake-like batter is formed.
Add the cream of tartar to the whites and whip until stiff peaks form.
Use a large spoon or spatula to gently fold whites into the yolk batter.
NOTE: You can easily downsize the recipe to prevent waste.
How you serve …
Add a heaping teaspoon of batter into a mug, along with a shot of rum or whiskey.
Pour in boiling water while stirring.
Sprinkle with nutmeg and serve.
NOTE: Adjust amount of batter to mug size.
