WARREN D. GRANT: For liberals, it’s always someone else’s fault

Please correct me, but it seems as though the idea of being a liberal is that everything is somebody else’s fault. No matter what the problem, somebody else is to blame. I don’t watch a lot of TV. In fact, I have gone days and days without turning it on. My wife turns it on in the morning to watch the news while getting ready for work, but other than that, we can go weeks without turning it on. I have more important things to do than watch some idiot TV show with a bunch of “canned” laughter to make you think it’s funny when it isn’t.

Consequently, I haven’t been following the Freddie “Pepper” Gray story, but I understand that he was a great philanthropist, considering all the people in Baltimore that he furnished with new shoes, TVs, clothes, etc. He certainly must have been very wealthy, as most of Baltimore took advantage of his generosity. Apparently, his passing will be greatly missed, as those who took advantage of his generosity will be burdened with the problem of obtaining the items that he helped people procure on their own.

The first part about the liberalism follows into this story as it is somebody else’s fault that he died. The fact that he had recent surgery and was supposed to be home in bed to help speed up the healing process was not his fault. It had to be the Devil or somebody who told him to get out of bed and roam the streets for God only knows what reason.

Baltimore and the world will truly miss this man. I only wish I had known him and had had the opportunity to class up my wardrobe a little before his passing. Due to the problems of his death, I’m not sure if I should send flowers to the Baltimore P.D. or place a wreath on the street corner where his business was located.
