ALBANY — An aggravated assault involving a firearm was reported from America’s Best Value Inn on North Slappey Boulevard Friday evening, reports from the Albany Police Department show.
The victim told police she was walking from the Flash Foods on North Slappey at around 10 p.m. and noticed two men following her. The two threatened her at gunpoint and then fled the scene without taking anything. No injuries were reported, and there were no immediate arrests, said Phyllis Banks, spokeswoman for the APD.
The description of the suspects was two black men, one with a small Afro and the other with small dreads. One of the suspects was armed with what the victim described as a small black gun, Banks said.
