B.J. FLETCHER: Look inside others for a glimpse of yourself

Can you articulate why government doesn’t need to be big? If not, then maybe you are among the ones who hide behind the “I don’t won’t to get involved” copout.
Well, hello! Whether you know it or not, you are involved. Everyone is affected by the times we’re living in. And what’s affected most is your future … your children’s future.
Did you know that every child born yesterday inherited a $94,000 debt the first day they were born? Government spending is killing us. I will say — as I have always said — you have the power of the penny.
These issues we face daily are being created to divide us. To use us. We have a health care issue. How worse is that issue going to get when we literally get millions of people flooding our country, and they will, in time, need to use our health care system?
Many of us work in industries that can’t afford good health care. Who in this country has great health care right now? The super-rich, government workers and all the people coming across our borders illegally.
Let’s get on the bandwagon and get behind the good people who want to come to our country. We must love our country. After all, we are still here. The ones that don’t like it can leave.
Have you noticed that there is one thing that you or no one will ever be able to do: No matter how rich or poor you are, without a mirror or some type of material in which you can see your reflection, you will never see your own face. No one in this world has ever seen their own face without using a mirror or some other such reflecting device.
Well, just maybe we all can start trying to look at ourselves from within. Stay out of politics, religion or gender politics if you own a business, because you are pretty well guaranteed to lose some business.
But it is OK to have hope. To know what’s going on. What can you do? Reflect to others by your actions what to do. How to handle these trying times.
I’ve got an idea: Try to trust in God. It’s hard to truly leave your problems at the cross and trust in Him totally. Especially if you are a fixer by nature. Look at people for who and what they are. By what they do, not their skin color; not there ethnicity. Look at them and that just might help you see better who you are.
Thanks to all who do their part.
