Global warming ‘propaganda’ brings to mind Chicken Little

To the Editor:

I have found the “news” recently so full of propaganda that it is difficult to tolerate.

The subject of the virus or warming the globe comes up so commonly that it is almost funny. There is no question to anyone with any scientific bent that this rock we live on has been cycling warm and cold for millions of years. The most recent trend to be of care has been the gradual warming since the ice began to melt off North America. Of course the melt has not been a linear event.

Recent measurements show an average rise in sea level or 3 mil. per year. All this is true, but what I hear from the propagandist every time a storm is reported is “global warming.” Could it be that global warming caused everything, even the current peak of inflation?

I think what I hear when I hear the news person shout “global warming” is the very old story they should be like Chicken Little: “The sky is falling.” At least that is what I hear.
