LETTER TO THE EDITOR: The U.S. has always been in nation-building business

My being a senior citizen, I remember Nikita Khrushchev. I also remember having a Russian conflict. We all this solved diplomatically.
At one time, the Soviet Union as on the verge of collapse. The United States, which has always been in the nation-building business, could have kept them down. Now, I guess, they are back to superpower status.
The gist of the matter is that the Democrats can use Russia whenever they deem it necessary. Even former President Obama said on an open mic that after his re-election he could be more flexible. The so-called higher ups selling uranium and then buying so-called “election dirt” is proof enough.
