LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Albany utilities customers left in the dark

To the Editor:

There’s an absence of help here for residents in Albany. Recently I’ve found out that they have discontinued the payment plan for Albany utilities. If you owe any amount, there’s no help for out standing bills, not even monthly installments on old bills.

If you’re without heating and air and don’t have the whole bill, you’re out of luck. We need help in Albany; we’re sincerely left in the dark.
