LETTER TO THE EDITOR: ‘Biblical illiterates’ bring Albany down

To the Editor:

Last week, my letter requesting the name of a local church that preached the whole Bible and preached against hell and all Biblical sin was published. I had one response, but that was from someone unfamiliar with what the Bible says. Not surprising, considering the “church” she recommended.

So for those of you who wonder why Albany continues its decline into crime and sin, wonder no more. A large number of Albanians are Biblical illiterates, being pastored by those who are only interested in your tithes, not your soul. And, strangely enough, for a large number of those illiterates, they wouldn’t have it any other way.

But for those who truly want to know God’s word, ask yourself the last time your pastor preached against hell and the sins in the Bible: divorce, fornication, murder, etc. Can’t remember? Congrats, you go to a fake church. Now, ask your pastor why he doesn’t preach against those things and watch him dance around the subject.
