What happened to Albany Utilities’ e-delivery of statements? I have completed requests for two accounts at least two times over the past several months and am still getting mailed statements. At least I don’t see the mailed surcharge applied yet.

I want to thank The Albany Herald for having the trunk-or-treat event on Halloween. Everyone there was so nice, and our kids had a ball (of course, they’ll be eating all that candy for the next several weeks). It was a very well-run and well-planned event. Thank you.
I love the Milwaukee Brewers’ Manager Pat Murphy. just a tough old player/coach/manager. This season he benched his leading player, William Contreras for not hustling running the bases. Murphy sat Contreras’ butt down. Ironic … Contreras would win the Most Valuable Player as the Brewers won the World Series.
Way to go, Albany Herald (and Ms. Fletcher). The Halloween event was special; our kids had a great time. And they’re enjoying the books you guys gave out.
Suspect in south Georgia $115K stolen check fraud stolen from about 14 banks and credit unions, stolen postal key to steal checks and check information from USPS mail sentenced to five years. What a joke! Better justice served: Sentence him to 5 minutes behind the barn with each person, taxpayer, institution he stole from and victimized.
Good companies providing well-paying jobs avoid cities where school board candidates sue after results come in. Also, where corrupt commissioners blatantly try to control every tax dollar to benefit their church congregation or contractor friends. Albany’s poorest children pay the largest price for the extreme narcissism of these grown men, as parents struggle more each year. We need to remember this is public service, not a way to enrich oneself.
The only thing — and it was a small thing because it was well-handled — that wasn’t great about the Herald’s trunk-or-treat event was the two or three homeless folks who came around trying to get some of the candy. They were politely — but firmly — turned away. Way to go.
If the WNBA teams can’t show respect for our National Anthem, I am in full boycott mode.
Oh what a parade we have today. Republicans’ noses are so brown they don’t know what’s coming and what has been sent already. Plenty enough time to go after the lunatic in the White House — convicted felon, serial sexual predator, con man who steals from charities — and still plenty of time to fix affordability- get rid of the tariffs he placed on goods,we all pay for and stop his stupid war — which caused prices to skyrocket — feed the poor and care for needy, not the billionaires club he stole his way into. Now if just one Republican could find their spine and stand up, problem solved.
Thank you Albany Herald for trunk-or-treat. Next time, bring more candy!
Elon Musk is a target of Democratic hatred, and some of them are starting to talk openly about socialism in the form of nationalizing SpaceX and Starlink.
