Trump was corrupt, incompetent and told one lie after another.

Dear Editor:

Attention MAGA: You supported Trump because he acknowledged your grievances. He was corrupt, incompetent and told one lie after another. He even lied about a pandemic, saying it was nothing to worry about and would go away in a few weeks. He sent a bunch of thugs to the Capitol because he was a sore loser, but that didn’t matter to you. ICE agents killed two citizens without good reason. He broke his promise to release all the Epstein files, but you didn’t care about any of that, at least not enough to stop supporting Trump and other elected officials who also support him.

Now service members are being killed in a war in which there was no plan or strategy, nor was it authorized by Congress. Trump has succeeded all his life by bullying other people into giving him what he wanted and believed all he had to do was bomb a country run by religious fanatics, and within a few days they’d surrender and agree to anything he demanded. However, that’s not the way the world works. Now the price of gas is skyrocketing, and he’s stooping to the level of begging countries he’s previously threatened to help us. Do you care now?

I’m guessing the answer is no. It really doesn’t matter what he does, as long as he validates the things you believe, whether they’re right or wrong. Yes, you have some legitimate grievances, but you didn’t just hire a fox to guard your henhouse, you elected a wolf who threatens your family and your way of life, but you still don’t get it. Like Trump himself, you can’t admit you made a mistake. You believe everything that’s happening is either the fault of Joe Biden, the liberals or it’s “fake news.” Just as Trump will never change, neither will you.
