To the editor:

Response to article @ Hate groups’ political influence growing, watchdog says.

The “watchdog,” the Southern Poverty Law Center, is an often discredited group. They have been accused/sued for defamation for spreading lies about groups they disagree with, and either paid damages or retracted their false allegations. One of their founders, Morris Dees, was fired due to financial irregularities, self-promotion, and sexual and racial harassment allegations.

Any group that labeled Ben Carson an extremist has no credibility.
