Does Dougherty County know or care about how many city and county employees have gotten sick working in the Government Center while the building is being refurbished during the last three months? The dust and fumes from paint and other chemicals have been overwhelming. You have to wonder what the long-term affects might be.

To Anonymous: As you can see, my fence broken during the storm was repaired today (Jan. 31) and is no longer the threat you mentioned it was to the Albany Code Enforcement Department. Ms. Ray of that department has been notified and will verify the repair tomorrow. You may now take your backpack off and return to your rock.

Squawker: You are reading the wrong sites on the internet. I have it on reliable sources that the “chem trails” are really nano-aluminum particles being sprayed to create a thin atmospheric layer to bounce laser beams off of to search for the grave of Jimmy Hoffa.

Way to go Monroe. Good way to celebrate your new $5 million gym, forced to forfeit all of your games because of cheating.

Squawker says, “Is it just me, or has Donald Trump turned into Nancy Pelosi’s whipping boy?” It must be just you.

Just wanted to send blessings to Bo Henry, Lea Henry and the Henry family over the loss of their father, friend and loved one. Mr. W.T. was a fine man, and a lot of people share in the family’s loss.

Which transportation personnel decided not to put the stop signs back on Philema road? This fresh tar pavement ain’t gonna stop people from running bat wild.

Why is the ARC bass tournament being held in Texas? They could have gone to Lake Walter F. George.

Honestly, I do not care about the NFL, the players or the Super Bowl game. It is the only NFL game I watch and only do so because of the new commercial debuts.

John McCain led the movement to ban torture of prisoners of war and terrorists. We say our country is not one who will torture. Then why are we allowing torture of individuals who have committed white-collar crimes? Andrew Weissman has a 69-year-old in solitary confinement 23 hours a day right now. He is known to have “broken” a young man by this method in the past. Sounds more like the gestapo than our FBI.

Praise be to President Trump, a fine Christian man who serves his god well.

Unbelievable how many piles of tree debris have not been picked up yet. Good thing we don’t have hurricanes every month.

We all knew there would be a “global warming is a hoax” squawk as soon as it got cold. Will these climate-change deniers ever understand weather and climate are two different things? Of course, the weather gets really cold at times during the winter and really hot at times during the summer. The long-term and dangerous changes to our climate, however, are clearly detrimental to our environment, and they should concern all of us.

Blaming God for Trump is kind of stretching it, isn’t it Sarah Sanders?
