I have to chuckle as I watch the Dems try to cover for their people who were caught up in racism or sexist accusations. Karma is going to make them pay for their past actions.

I do not live in Dougherty County, but I agree with the squawker about Jon Howard looking after the people in his ward. They are fortunate to have him as a commissioner. If he could find a way to get people to stop littering it would be wonderful, but I am afraid he is fighting a losing battle. But I give him props for trying.

Thanks for having the Will Durst columns in The Herald. He makes my day.

All y’all talking about Trump are just jealous. He’s leading this country back to greatness, whether you like it or not. We need that wall to keep those people out who are taking our jobs and getting on welfare.

How much schooling does it take to be an illiterate Trump Republican? None, just fake it.

Is it just me, or is this the mildest winter in the history of this region? Have we had any days below freezing yet? I’m not really complaining, just wondering.

The next government shutdown is just a couple of days away. You can send a letter of thanks to Pelosi, Schumer and other anti-American Democrats.

You people who call your self “community activists” are little more than scat-stirrers who care nothing about the people you say you’re trying to help. Blaming others for your failures and inabilities serves no purpose.

Maybe Tommie Postell can run for mayor, get elected and then declare a state of emergency and call in the Albany Police Department to stop Mr. Patel from building his liquor store. Postell and Trump, birds of a feather.

It is sad that Albany needs big businesses, and the best they come up with is another liquor store. Pathetic.

Was glad to see that “ANGEL” still walks the halls of APD.

Our legislators may approve a 300 percent pay increase for themselves. Evidently they plan to pay for their raise on the backs of state retirees. They have suspended a COLA for state retirees since 2008. Teachers, beware, they will do the same thing to you.

Trump’s rabid supporters, and rabid is the operative word here, simply refuse to see how incompetent the man is. All they can do is hurl lame insults at anyone who questions his competence.

Trump is not standing up to Democrats. He is standing on the backs of hard-working Republicans who praise him as he sells favors to foreign governments and fills his pockets. He is sleazy. He spent years voting as a Democrat, but realized how easy it was to run for public office using Republicans.

Squawker wonders how God feels about Albany if God is mad at California and New York. Well, squawker, Albany is filled with liberal Democrats.
