Thank you for the article about the Whiz Kids. When Dale and Lee Don moved to Albany they saw a need for this program, and it has been an asset to those students in elementary school who need extra help with homework. Lee Don should receive the Martin Luther King annual award.

As we welcome spring’s last chill, let’s hope that God will keep us from being ill.

Happy 50th Birthday to the Allman Brothers Band.

OK, Revology, I want a new 1970 Satellite, slant-six, crank windows, three-speed on the column, bucket seats, and I want it at 1970 prices.

Maine is proposing a law to charge anyone releasing balloons to be charged with littering and heavily fined. This is non-biodegradable litter and harmful to both domestic animals and wildlife. Georgia should pass similar legislation.

A recent poll shows voters want the rich to pay higher taxes. All that would do is give the Democrats more money to waste and cause a slowdown in businesses, causing higher unemployment.

David Perdue does not worry about representing Georgians. He only worries about being Donald Trump’s lap dog.

In response to the squawker who went to bat for Mended Hearts moving to Albany from Dallas and calling someone a Negative Nellie: Another nonprofit joining forces with a nonprofit (Phoebe). We pay the highest property tax in Georgia because of nonprofits. I want to see the community grow, but not from people that do not pay their fair share of taxes. Albany has changed into a city where the majority of the citizens are looking for nothing but handouts.

The only reason the squawker keeps trash-talking Perdue is to promote Stacey Abrams. Sorry, squawker, I am voting for Perdue. We didn’t want Abrams as governor, and we don’t want her as senator.

We put a man on the moon 30 (sic) years ago, but we still don’t have a cellphone screen that you can read outside in daylight.

The Beatles vs. Stones show was so much fun. If you closed your eyes, you could almost believe it was the 1960s again. Thank you for bringing it to Albany.

You people out to get President Trump are wasting your time. The man is untouchable. He will be president for the next six years, and if we patriots have our way, beyond that!

Trump’s budget includes cutting funding for Special Olympics. How do you fake Christians sleep at night?

Eric Holder and Andrew Cuomo just can’t say enough how “America was never that great.” Selfish, self-centered, left-wing comments from two men who have enjoyed success in our country. Many thousands of great Americans made the ultimate sacrifice so these two can freely spew this garbage. Ironic, don’t ya think?

When McCain was running for president, squawkers ridiculed him saying he was old and senile and one heartbeat away. However, when he bad-mouthed Trump and he passes away, suddenly these same squawkers refer to him as a great hero. I find that hypocritical and disgusting.

Trump is about hate, lies, division and chaos. Which of these do his supporters approve of?
