Pillsbury spokesman Pop N. Fresh just died of a massive yeast infection. He will be buried in a lightly greased coffin. The funeral is at 3:50 for about 20 minutes.

How about somebody with the interest of the people of Ward VI — not somebody whose interest is only in himself — run for that office? We’ve been without competent representation for quite some time now.

Interesting that the Top 10 states with best economy are run by Republicans, whereas states like California and New York that are run by liberals are in the Bottom 10.

We don’t take the time very often to talk about anything positive in our community, but I hope everyone knows how fortunate we are to have such a first-class symphony orchestra.

Hey, Trump supporters. Let’s say you own and run a small business providing a service, like janitorial work, for example. Would you enter into a business agreement with Trump in which you would be paid after the work had been done?

Yes, Miss Subadan, please focus on our infrastructure. But please don’t let these commissioners bankrupt us in the process.

The only national emergency is the loss of our moral compass brought to you by… Hollywood, liberals and fake media. There, fixed it.

I hope all the runners, visitors and everybody else who came to town had a good time. It’s always refreshing to hear how others talk about our community when they come in for this event, a nice break from listening to the people who always do nothing but complain.

Nordic countries are much more socialistic than America, yet their people are the happiest in the world. Socialistic policies don’t ruin countries, dictators do.

I don’t get how anybody feels any different, but I’m willing to let Donald Trump be president for life and finally fix this country. He’ll get rid of the people who don’t need to be here.

So Trump believes Putin as to no Russian involvement in our elections; the Saudi Prince as to no involvement in journalist Khashoggi’s murder; and the North Korean dictator’s lack of knowledge as to the death of Otto Warmbier, all contrary to our intelligence agencies. What is next as to Trump giving dictators the benefit of the doubt vs. believing U S intelligence agencies?

Commissioner B.J. Fletcher: Please accept my condolences on your loss of Miss Vesta. She was a wonderful lady, and you were always a good daughter to her. Bless you both.

Some things are just better left unsaid. And I usually realize it right after I say them.

Thanks for dropping by, Judge Gobeil. Hope you enjoyed your visit and will come back again.

Reading about all these candidates for mayor and City Commission is interesting. I hope voters will take this election seriously and do what’s best for our community. Sometimes we have to realize that some folks outstay their welcome when they get on a board like that and they become ineffective. We have some of that on our commission.

Ronald Reagan said, “Democrats are not illiterate, it’s just that they know so much that isn’t true.”
