WARREN D. GRANT: Mother Nature undresses children

LETTER TO THE EDITOR: Winter comes to nature

By Warren D. Grant

I sit here and watch as Mother Nature undress her children.

Peaceful and quiet as she slowly works her magic.

The beauty she has produced, both in coming and going, is a spectacular wonder, never ending.

She has performed this magic for thousands upon thousands of years and the amazement never ceases.

Mother Nature is the paintbrush that God holds and continues to paint the stage that embodies awe and wonder in young and old alike.

Slowly and methodically, the old is removed and laid naked to the world.

Then in just a short while the hand that made it all will once again put new clothing on her children and there is another beautiful beginning.

Only those who believe in God understand and at the same time, cannot.

For the illusions of God’s hand mystifies us at every turn.

Yet I believe.
