What is going on? All these women coming out after 30-40 years about abuse that happened to them. I have a problem with them waiting so long, but I understand that they want justice, and I think they should get it. But why so long?

It’s easy for me to judge because I haven’t been involved and I don’t want to belittle the women who are speaking out. Matt Lauer is the latest and I would bet any amount that he was lower on the rung than those who have been doing the same thing he did.

I really do feel sorry for the women who have been victimized. I guess that with the modern age there are more support groups, so the women feel safer than they did 40 years ago. I don’t have any idea what would make them happy because what happened happened and nothing will take away the hurt. I cannot, myself, understand their pain or their feelings.

I am a realist and I can bet that this problem will never go away, but with the latest, I can assume that people will be more cognizant of what they’re doing and where. With all the problems we have in this country, these things must consume our time, which is a shame because all the violence that’s going on, how can anyone feel safe?
