Albany State defense stout again in win at Morehouse

ATLANTA — Albany State’s defense maintained its high level of play in a 14-10 victory ovre Morehouse on Saturday afternoon at Lakewood Stadium.
The Golden Rams, ranked 25th nationally, improve to 8-1 overall and 5-0 in the SIAC with their sixth straight victory. They entered the game ranked No. 1 in scoring defense in Division II, and Saturday’s performance was up to the standards set by the “Dirty Blue” defense.
ASU, which had allowed only nine points in its previous four games with a pair of shutouts, hung close against Morehouse thanks to its defense. The score was tied 7-7 until the fourth quarter.
