Brady Weaver signs with Brewton-Parker

SYLVESTER – Worth County senior Brady Weaver signed to play college baseball at Brewton-Parker College in Mount Vernon during a ceremony at Worth County High School Friday morning.. A three-year starter at catcher for the Rams, Weaver has helped lead Worth County to the state Final Four this season and they will play top-seeded Gordon Lee this week.. Weaver was also a starting linebacker on the Rams football team that captured the GHSA Class A Division I state championship earlier this year. Seated with Weaver are his parents, Tom Weaver and Kayla Weaver. Standing behind are Worth County head coach Will Smith, assistant coach Zach Mauldin, middle school coach Reece Bozeman and former assistant coach Kaleb Hancock. Not pictured is Brady’s older brother, Parker, who also played baseball at Worth County. The two were teammates when Parker was a senior and Brady was a freshman.
