Georgia football lands 12 on preseason All-SEC team
Georgia football had 12 selections on the 2026 Preseason Media Days All-Southeastern Conference Teams, according to a league announcement on Friday.

ATHENS, Ga. – Georgia football had 12 selections on the 2026 Preseason Media Days All-Southeastern Conference Teams, according to a league announcement on Friday.
Georgia, Oklahoma and Texas were all tied-first with 12 preseason All-SEC selections each.
Of Georgia’s 12 selections, four Bulldogs were named to the preseason conference first team: redshirt senior OT Earnest Greene III, redshirt senior C Drew Bobo, junior S KJ Bolden and redshirt sophomore DB Ellis Robinson IV.
More, Georgia was selected to finish first in the conference this season, as well as receiving a league-leading 87 votes to win the 2026 SEC Championship. Media in attendance at SEC Media Days selected the Texas Longhorns to face the Bulldogs in the championship game.
On top of Georgia’s four first-team selections, five Bulldogs were selected to the second team: junior RB Nate Frazier, senior TE Lawson Luckie, sophomore OL Dontrell Glover, sophomore DL Elijah Griffin and senior ILB Raylen Wilson. Further, three Bulldogs – redshirt senior QB Gunner Stockton, senior OLB Gabe Harris, Jr. and senior S Khalil Barnes – were voted to the third team.
Georgia opens the season at Dooley Field in Sanford Stadium on Saturday, Sept. 5 against Tennessee State. The game will stream live on SEC Network+ at 3:00 p.m. ET.
