LILBURN, Ga. — Lee County scored a big baseball victory Friday night in the Georgia Peach Invitational at Parkview High School with a 4-1 victory over Marist.
Josh Hatcher earned the victory on the hill, working five scoreless innings. Tyler Simon earned the save.
Hatcher led the offense, going 2 for 4 with a double, while Garrett Suiter finished 1 for 2. Jonathan Logsdon also added a single.
The Trojans (5-1) will play Lambert at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, followed by another game at either 4 p.m. or 6:30 p.m.
