KATHLEEN, Ga. — Lee County rallied from a four-run deficit to defeat Veterans 9-8 Friday night in a nonregion game.

The Trojans (9-3) erupted for 12 hits. Tyler Simon led Lee at the plate, going 3 for 4 with a double and an RBI. Josh Hatcher, Garret Suiter and Lawrence Bryant each had two hits. Suiter finished with four RBIs.

Hatcher started and earned the victory on the mound, working five innings and striking out four. Simon worked the final two innings to record the save.

The Trojans visit Thomas County Central Wednesday.
