SUMMER OLYMPIC COUNTDOWN — 14 days: Wimbledon champ Federer eyes his first Olympic gold
Roger Federer, who won his record-tying seventh Wimbledon championship Sunday, has won a record 17 Grand Slam titles (his first came at Wimbledon in 2003) and has spent 286 weeks at No. 1 in the ATP rankings. He will be back on the grass courts of the All England Club later this month to try to win his first Olympic gold medal.
