Terrell Academy girls headed to GIAA Final Four

MACON – The Terrell Academy Lady Eagles are headed to the GIAA Final Four next week in Milledgeville after defeating Heritage Academy of Newnan 53-46 Friday night at Tatnall Square Academy in Macon.

The Lady Eagles (20-5) will face top-ranked Lakeview Academy (25-1) of Gainesville at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Georgia College and State University. Lakeview advanced by whipping Brookwood of Thomasville 76-43.

Friday night in Macon, Terrell Academy used a balanced scoring attack to beat Heritage. Sally Masters led the Lady Eagles with 13 points, Mackenzie Cooper and Jenna DeBary scored 12 each, Annalea Massey put in seven, Liza West dumped in six and Hadley Webb added three.
