U-Save-It Classic set for Tuesday and Wednesday

ALBANY — The annual U-Save-It Classic is set for Tuesday and Wednesday at Monroe High School and local high school basketball fans can get their fill before Santa arrives.

The games will begin Tuesday at 1 p.m. when Taylor County (0-5) takes on No. 7-ranked Baldwin (5-1) followed by Lee County (5-1) against Douglas County (2-5). The next game will be No. 8-ranked Monroe (3-3) against Glynn Academy (6-2), followed by Dougherty (3-5) against Hillgrove (5-3). The nightcap will see Westover (6-4) face Park Crossing (2-6) from Montgomery, Ala.

On Wednesday, games begin again at 1 p.m. when Taylor County is against Glynn Academy. Westover will follow with a game against Hillgrove, then Lee County will play Baldwin. Dougherty will then follow against Park Cross before Monroe closes the classic with a game against Douglas County.
