By Ron Seibel
Week 2 of the high school football season saw some big-time yardage numbers.
Westwood’s Ja’myez Thompson turned in the Albany area’s first 200-yard rushing night of the season, doing so on just four carries.
Monroe’s David Dillard, who had the top Week 1 passing performance at 210 yards, bumped his passing yardage up to 272 yards in a win over Terrell County.
There’s also a new single-game receiving yardage leader in the Albany area, as well as plenty of points scored on defense and special teams.
Here are the top performances from Week 2 of the high school football season, taken from statistics reported to the Herald and to maxpreps.com.
