AB&T President and CEO Luke Flatt recently announced the promotion of four bank associates, including Stan Edmonds, Terri Christian, Tina Marbury and Whitney Passmore.
Edmonds, who has more than 30 years experience in banking and accounting has been promoted to Vice President, Controller, where will be instrumental in budgeting and financial analysis and reporting.
“Stan is a highly experienced banker and financial analysis professional. The quality and presentation of his work have been, and will continue to be, vital in the success of AB&T,” said Flatt.
Christian, a 25-year banking veteran has been promoted to Vice President, Branch Manager and will now oversee the main office’s client service delivery, consumer relationship growth and consumer lending.
“Terri brings a unique ability to both develop and maintain long-term client relationships, and her passion for delighting customers continues to illustrate what it means to be the gold standard of community banking,” Flatt noted.
An Albany native, Marbury has been promoted to Banking Officer, Senior Credit Analyst where she will use her wealth of credit knowledge and underwriting expertise in her work with both commercial and private bankers.
“Tina’s experience and proficiency truly set her apart,” said Flatt. “Our credit quality and ability to respond timely to client requests are direct reflections on Tina’s high level of competence.”
Passmore, a native of Leesburg, was promoted to Banking Officer, Cash Management Specialist and will continue establishing and maintaining the client relationships she developed through her role as Cash Management Specialist and Administrative Assistant to the Commercial and Private Bankers.
“On a daily basis, Whitney demonstrates what solid relationship banking represents and is a tremendous asset to AB&T and to this community,” stated Luke Flatt.
MEDICAL
Interventional cardiologist Anthony Burke, DO, FACC, FASNC, has joined the Tift Regional Medical Center Heart and Vascular Center. Burke will perform procedures at the TRMC Heart and Vascular Center and conduct evaluations, office-based treatments and follow-up exams at Affinity Clinic.
Burke diagnoses and treats heart conditions including coronary artery disease, abnormal rhythms (arrhythmia), valve problems and congestive heart failure. As an interventional cardiologist, he provides general cardiology services but also specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of heart conditions using minimally invasive techniques often involving catheters. With the addition of Burke, TRMC now has three interventional cardiologists, one invasive cardiologist, one vascular surgeon and an internist who interprets cardiac studies.
“I’m excited to have joined this growing program,” Burke said. “I look forward to serving patients here in South Central Georgia. TRMC has an impressive heart and vascular facility with the latest technology and a great team of cardiovascular professionals.”
Board certified in cardiology, Burke earned his medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed an internal medicine residency at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa. He followed with a cardiovascular disease fellowship and an interventional cardiology fellowship at Oklahoma State University Medical Center in Tulsa, Okla. Before joining Affinity Clinic, Burke practiced cardiology in Tulsa, Okla. and Augusta.
