Having power is not the only thing to consider when opening the schools. Many DCSS employees have suffered damages and loss. They are not ready to return to work. Many roads are closed or damaged, buses cannot get through safely. Having schools open at different times would create multiple problems. Be patient and trust that DCSS is doing what is best for all.
