Probably the best way to straighten out America’s student/athlete problem is to drop the “special admittance” students. Scandal after scandal follow these students. Our own UGA, hundreds of students in our area fall just below the line on SAT scores, high school GPAs and are denied admission while several hundred “special admittance” students are welcome.

Why isn’t the crime statistics the mayor’s speaking about being collected and analyzed on a daily, weekly or monthly basis? How can you properly deploy your resources if you aren’t analyzing where crime is? This is why leadership change is necessary.

The Republicans are going to become Uber drivers after next year’s elections if they fail to pass tax reform.

Talked to a friend today who has Falcon season tickets. He told me that he was not going to renew his tickets for next season. He said he could not support anyone who disrespects our flag/country. I totally agree. How do you feel?

For those seniors that have been complaining about paying school tax in The Squawkbox, you can apply for a $10,000 exemption at 62 if your gross income, not including retirement, is not over $10,000. At 65 you have to apply for a homestead exemption, which gives you $10,000 school and a $4,000 county exemption only on your primary residence.

It was obvious Obama didn’t know what he was doing, otherwise North Korea would be a non-topic right now.

I was reading about Medicaid users will be required to work. That is a great idea. But they should have kept Jimmy Carter’s CETA program. It was great for us in the North but people in the South didn’t like it because it required them to go to work.

To the squawker who said Donald Trump was responsible for Pvt. Bergdahl not getting any time, what about ex-President Obama who put his Democrats on the highger spots in the military. They’re the ones you can thank for Bergdahl not getting any time.

The squawker who wanted to know why the Deplorables weren’t marching down Pine: It’s because they were at work.

Wrong, squawker, I’ve got my own definitions, I got my own heroes and you don’t to define for me that John Lewis is some kind of hero.

Juan Williams claims he knew about the Democratic Party being hacked a year ago. Why didn’t he set of the alarm then?

Luke Bryan, even though you didn’t win CMA’s entertainer of the year, you’ll always be my entertainer of the year.

Albany has four things Leesburg doesn’t have — an airport, a hospital, a military base and an arborist. Take that, Lee County.

Twice the campuses to take of, twice the dormitories to take care of, twice the buildings to take care of and half the money. Two years and Albany State University will be right back where it was.

You know the saying, “The lines on a tiger don’t change.” The same can be said of Henry Mathis. Same conniving man of old.

The Democrats should take Jack Nicholson’s advice. Get the facts, but, like Hillary, they can’t handle the truth.
