ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 10 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Runaway juvenile on the 2500 block of Wexford Drive;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 2800 block of Nottingham Way;
— Battery on the 300 block of Sunset Lane;
— Disorderly conduct on the 200 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Theft by taking on the 300 block of Tallulah Drive;
— Burglary on the 600 block of 16th Avenue;
— Criminal trespass on the 1500 block of Gillionville Road;
— Criminal damage to property on the 2300 block of Pradera Court;
— DUI on the 200 block of South McKinley Street;
— Entering auto on the 2000 block of West Broad Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 34 calls on Thursday, Friday and the early hours of Saturday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— Discharging firearms on the 800 block of Westview Drive, the 200 block of Holly Drive and the intersection of Williamsburg Road and the Liberty Expressway;
— Auto accidents on the 700 block of Philema Road, the 7500 block of Gillionville Road, the 1700 block of Moultrie Road, the 3300 block of Moultrie Highway and the 2100 block of Cordele Road;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 4800 block of Hill Road;
— Traffic arrests on the 1300 block of South Mock Road, the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard, the intersection of Radium Springs Road and Bluewater Road, and the intersection of South Mock Road and Short Street;
— Suspicious auto on the 6500 block of Leary Road;
— Unwanted guest on the 1400 block of the Liberty Expressway;
— Family violence on the 1800 block of the Liberty Expressway, the 1400 block of Hancock Road and on the 5100 block of Highgate Court;
— Harassing phone calls on the 1500 block of Hancock Road;
— Miscellaneous problem at the intersection of South Mock Road and Short Street;
— Assist motorist on the 1800 block of South County Line Road;
— Personal welfare check on the 2800 block of Moultrie Road;
— Fraud on the 1300 block of Old Pretoria Road;
— Criminal trespass on the 1200 block of McKenzie Road;
— Injured animal at the intersection of River Pointe Drive and Philema Road;
— Animal running at large on the 2500 block of Betty’s Drive;
— Burglar alarms on the 4400 block of La Costa Drive and on the 2800 block of Creedmoor Court;
— Suicide attempt on the 2300 block of Austin Drive;
— Contact persons on the 1100 block of Old Pretoria Road and the 3200 block of Sylvester Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 4400 block of Old Dawson Road;
— Residential burglary in progress on the 1000 block of Spring Hill Drive.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least five calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:
— EMS assist on the 1500 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Heat from a short circuit on the 1200 block of Firestone Drive;
— Passenger vehicle fire at the intersection of Pecan Lane and Moultrie Road;
— Natural gas leak on the 500 block of Swift Street;
— Auto accident on the 900 block of Eighth Avenue.
