I suppose what they play in the stores today over the intercom system could be worse, but it’s hard to imagine. Whatever happened to Percy Faith, Nelson Riddle, Lawrence Welk?

On Page 4A in the Monday Herald, the lady brings up a good idea about cleaning up the city like in San Diego. I doubt our city and county leaders will come up with the money to pay these people, though. As the Herald Editorial Board said, the only thing stopping us is ourselves.

Mamas and daddies out there, if you want to buy your kids a car from Finnecum Motors with a temporary tag due to expire in April, teach her to have a little respect for people on the roadway. Driving 80 mph, darting in and out of traffic and making hand gestures will cause some serious problems with people who are unstable. I highly suggest, daddy, you teach your baby the proper way to operate a vehicle.

Pompeo has already been confirmed by the Senate. But how do we know he’s been confirmed by Russia? So it’s not a done deal yet.

I am 75 years old and apparently have no signs of dementia. In fact, I can even remember when Albany was a nice city to live in.

The Albany Humane Society has taken three weeks to cremate my pets remains. Why has it taken so long?

Trump fired his Secretary of State because he would not take a knee to the Russian president, as Trump has done over and over again.

I agree with the Squawker about Kelly Ann Conway. If she’s responsible for Trump winning, she’s responsible for putting together the most corrupt bunch of people in American history.

I’m 91 year old. I’ve lived in Albany since 1927. When we have storms and tornadoes, many homes are destroyed by trees. And yet, they’re out there planting trees again. When they grow up, they’re going to be dangerous.

My Christian and family values are not for sale for a $60 tax cut. Apparently, for Trump supporters they are.

Our school tax in Dougherty County is a lot higher than my little Social Security check.

Every student that’s gonna walk out for 17 minutes should be required to write an essay about why they’re walking out and name one person in those 17 that they’re walking out for. Mandatory.

I notice there aren’t many baseball players of color on college baseball teams either. Maybe we should have some quotas there also.

Just how long are we, the American people, supposed to keep living thorough this reality show of an administration? This is “The Apprentice 2.0” where everyone is getting fired. This is a joke, America. Wake up.
