ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 18 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Simple battery, family violence, on the 1200 block of West Second Avenue, the 2000 block of West Broad Avenue and the 700 block of Barkley Avenue;

— Disorderly conduct on the 1500 block of North Slappey Boulevard;

— Deceased persons on the 200 block of West Third Avenue and the 200 block of Pine Bluff Road;

— Armed robbery, firearm, on the 600 block of West Tift Avenue;

— Aggravated stalking on the 1200 block of Kingstown Court;

— Thefts by shoplifting on the 500 block of South Slappey Boulevard and the 1000 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— Thefts by taking on the 2000 block of West Broad Avenue and the 1800 block of West Gordon Avenue;

— Burglaries on the 600 block of North Westover Boulevard and the 1800 block of Valley Road;

— Criminal trespass on the 200 block of Cordele Road;

— First-degree forgery on the 2800 block of Old Dawson Road;

— Violation of family violence order on the 300 block of Vick Street;

— Entering auto on the 300 block of West Mercer Avenue.

DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least nine calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— Family violence on the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard;

— Assist motorist on the corner of South Mock Road and Fleming Road;

— Inhumane treatment of animal on the 2800 block of North Jefferson Street;

— Harassing phone calls on the 1800 block of the Liberty Expressway Southeast;

— Suicide attempt on Austin Drive;

— Missing person on the 2100 block of Habersham Road;

— Thefts by taking on the 2800 block of Home Drive and the 2800 block of Creedmoor Court;

— Suspicious auto on the 2500 block of Hibiscus Road.

ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 11 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included:

— EMS call on the 2100 block of West Waddell Avenue;

— Motor vehicle accidents on the 2600 block of Dawson Road, the corner of North Westover Boulevard and Gillionville Road, the 1200 block of North Westover Boulevard and the 2500 block of Nottingham Way;

— Bomb scare, no bomb, on the 400 block of West Roosevelt Avenue;

— Motor vehicle/pedestrian accident on the 100 block of Allen Avenue;

— Overheated motor on the 900 block of Rosedale Avenue;

— Passenger vehicle fire on the 1400 block of Martin Luther King Jr.;

— Medical assists on the 2600 block of Dawson Road.

DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 62 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports indicate. Incidents included three chest pain calls, five respiratory issue calls, 29 general sickness calls, one altered mental status call, one stroke call, three diabetic issues, one OB call, two abnormal behavior/suicide attempt calls and three cardiac arrest/death calls. Trauma calls included five auto accidents, three falls, one laceration and two assaults. Other calls included one standby for APD call and two local transports.
