This is a news flash: The Beach Boys will go surfing in Tifton with “Barbara Ann” and “Rhonda,” but they will not surf through Albany because there are no “Good Vibrations” there.

Cleaning up the entrance is not a top priority for Chehaw. Restoring revenue-producing areas is more important. Perhaps the offended squawker could manage a volunteer clean-up crew.

Carolyn Solomon and husband stated that Terrell County officials only pave roads where whites live. Since they bought the property when they moved up from Florida, I would think they would have noticed the road was not paved when they purchased the property.

The Squawker from Valdosta claims their schools are better, although the statistics show our graduation rates are higher and we graduate twice as many students.

I agree with the Squawker about people who park in handicap parking areas who are not handicapped.

Saw in The Albany Herald that a restaurant was planned in the old Kmart building. Captain D’s would be a nice restaurant in that building. Please consider it so that I won’t have to drive to east Albany to get some decent food.
