I hope the people in Fort Gaines take the time to appreciate what an asset Karen Kinsell is. She is one of those true humanitarians who cares about all people. Very rare in today’s world.

Not only does Trump have nothing better to do than to convince Coca-Cola to use cane sugar instead of corn syrup in its formula, but he also thinks the Commanders and Guardians should re-adopt their racist, former names. He claims many indigenous people have told him this is what they want. Doesn’t Trump have more important matters, such as releasing the Epstein files, to focus on?

The Democrats didn’t use the Epstein files against Trump because there are too many Democrats’ names in them, along with a bunch of Republicans.

It was wonderful — dare I say a divine gift — that the great Ozzy Osbourne was given time to finish that amazing final concert series only days before his death. That the money raised will support charities is a final, lasting legacy for this man who brought so much pleasure to others.

Let me preface this by saying I really appreciate the talents and professionalism of Herald reporters Alan Mauldin and Lucille Lannigan. But as this weekend’s paper proved once again, our hometown newspaper is best when Carlton Fletcher is writing stories. I salute you, Mr. Editor.

Rest in peace, Hulk Hogan. You abused your body for years with dangerous substances, and that body finally gave out. We appreciate the entertainment value of your career but are saddened by your final chapter.

You’d think Lee County’s football coaches would feel something like shame or even a little bit of regret about recruiting players just to win football games, but it’s obvious they don’t. They’re good at teaching their system, but they’re even better at selling their lies to young kids.

If you are going to play around with road rage and these would be street racers, Mr. Editor, might I suggest a Mossberg Aftershock 12 gauge be your right-seat companion? Not only do they have souped-up cars, but many carry to protect their cars.

In response to the demand to release the Epstein files, Trump has threatened to restrict the stadium deal with the Washington Commanders if they don’t change their name back to Redskins. This is a classic distraction tactic by Trump. No matter how many lies he tells or immoral and illegal things he does, all he has to do is anger Democrats and the news media and his base forgives him.

The Atlanta paper picked Leesburg’s football coach as one of the best. But if you talk to most Leesburg natives, they do not like what football has done to their school and their county.
