This community would be a whole lot better off — financially, spiritually, safetywise — if everyone stopped looking for a handout and worked to take care of themselves and their families.

Presenting several universal truths, Ferguson intends to denote a divine inspiration in his use of the general word “epistle.” But what is the “my community, our movement, oppose justice, revolution?”. An activist, creating a perceived reality that itself is the problem of his own contention.  

Great article in Tuesday’s paper about free heavy equipment training that leads to well-paying jobs. Will the multitude of unemployed Albanians take advantage of it? No, they enjoy being unemployed, living off of our taxes and complaining the government doesn’t provide enough for them.

The shooting at the store on Slappey this week was apparently over a slot machine. A slot machine? I thought those were illegal. Surely all those convenience store owners are not paying off in cash. Not in Albany.

I don’t mind getting old, but my body is taking it badly. 

How can Albany be next in line for the National Guard to come here and take over police protection?

We will never see the full Epstein files. Just think for a brief moment about why they will not release the full files.If any Democrat or relative thereof was in those files Trump and his toadies would be on Fox not really News reciting from them. Trump and his billionaire friends are all involved and complicit in a major cover-up. If not, why were the files not released?

Listen up, school administrators, we aren’t paying you to parrot the same old rhetoric about poor parenting. We are paying you to fix the problem and get our schools back on track.

August 19, best of times worst of times: Chamber/Persley/Hayes in meeting present improving crime statistics. A man of 53 kills another 66-year-old in a parking lot over a lottery machine; a gun-toting, burglar, thief, fraudster, woman and child abuser is dismissed for his part in a child murder. Persley calls this a time of opportunity to improve, and Mr. Rogers is singing in the background?

Trump promised to win until we got tired of winning. He has not kept this promise. He’s had many stunning wins, but he has 3 1/2 years to go before he gets the stop sign.

It’s always interesting to hear and see folks talk and write  about “Southern Heritage” and how it should be heralded, taught and not erased. But at the same time, these people refused to acknowledge the entire history, wanting to never mention the genocide conducted in the South and the ongoing efforts to marginalize and or eradicate a culture they teach and have been taught to disregard as invalid.

The Democrats are like kids who keep trying to play with the neighborhood bullies who beat them up, then beat up or ignore the kids who would ordinarily play with them if they didn’t beat them up or ignore them. Then they wonder why they don’t have any friends….. That Man Without a Family
