Heard and his Heard-ettes are at it again, denying funding for our jail that is vitally needed while preparing to give $3 million of our tax money to cronies and developers of ill-repute. The governor should act on the shenanigans going on here, but neither he nor the overwhelming number of state representatives and senators are aware that there’s anything in Georgia south of Macon.

Waiting with bated breath to see if the Israeli Navy will be going to Hormuz to help escort oil tankers through the strait or whether Orangeboy will find that Netanyahu has no more use for him.

Properties of 114, 110 and 106/104 N. Washington St. have a combined tax assessor’s market value appraisal at some $400G. Does that mean $1.6M of the City’s $2M loan is unsecured? It will be interesting to see if any 1960s pigeon biohazard is encountered and if so, who pays. 

Very good articles in Saturday’s paper by the entire editorial staff. The writing quality at this time is top-notch.

Around the 1960s, America started screaming of how great diversity was for schools, work force, military, etc. But looking at the front page of Thursday’s Herald, the picture and write-up about President Scott and his new cabinet at Albany State seems to be totally lacking in diversity. Maybe diversity is only good when some people want it.  

There are only two genders: male and female. End of discussion.

Fletcher, you can’t get over Heard and the other commissioners firing your buddy Michael McCoy. I’m sure our commission chairman had a good reason for taking that $11 million installment for jail improvements off the budget. And if they say a $3 million investment in our tax money will guarantee a return of equal value, well, that’s just good business.

Carlton’s article in the Weekend Herald is so true about city and county commissioners, the mayor and chairman. Albany needs to take a lesson from Atlanta a few years ago. Undercover agents went after the developers and contractors of city projects and told them unless they gave up the officials on the take, they were going to jail. They started talking like songbirds. I would start with contractors of that $9 million gym that was recently built.

The Arc’s “beep ball” tournament was fantastic. Reading the report on the event was fun, but the picture of blindfolded players being led to their positions was priceless.

I challenge the squawker claiming Trump is a Christian to identify which of these Christian attributes Trump has:  forgiveness, humility, moral living, grace, or self control?
