ALBANY – The Albany Area Chamber of Commerce will host its inaugural Chamber Clay Classic on Oct. 17, providing a unique opportunity for community leaders, business professionals and outdoor enthusiasts to come together for a day of competitive sport, networking and fun. The event will be hosted at Albany’s Wynfield, the Orvis 2005 Wingshooting Lodge of the Year.

The Chamber Clay Classic will feature morning and afternoon flights, providing ample opportunities for participants to test their skills in a 10-station, 100-shot format. Competitors can register as part of a team of up to four people or as individual shooters. With exciting prizes and ultimate bragging rights at stake, this event promises to be a highlight of the fall season. The afternoon flight is presented by Shiver Outdoor & Archery, and sponsorship opportunities remain available for the morning flight.

“The Chamber Clay Classic builds off Albany’s outdoor assets and its well-known standing as a sportsman’s paradise to offer a fun day of sporting competition and networking,” Bárbara Rivera Holmes, president and CEO of the Albany Area Chamber, the region’s leading business organization, said. “Recreational activities foster team-building, strengthen client engagement and deepen relationships by building trust and improving communication.

“We’re excited to offer this unique platform by which business leaders, community members and outdoor enthusiasts can build valuable connections, cultivate camaraderie and share in the spirit of community.”

Space is limited to 12 teams per flight, so early registration is encouraged. Earplugs and safety goggles will be required and provided.

In addition to the competition, the event will include breakfast, lunch, games, a cash raffle, prizes and a silent auction with exclusive items up for bid. Following the afternoon flight, participants are invited to join the Shotgun Social, where the fun and camaraderie will continue.

The Chamber Clay Classic offers an exceptional platform to showcase corporate brands to a diverse audience of business leaders and outdoor enthusiasts. Sponsorship packages come with valuable benefits such as event signage, promotional materials and public recognition.
