ALBANY – Gospel music fans are in for an unforgettable evening of soul-stirring worship and praise as the Albany Civic Center welcomes three of Gospel music’s biggest stars — Fred Hammond, Todd Dulaney, and James Fortune — on Dec. 15 at 6 p.m. at the Albany Civic Center.
The concert will bring together these Grammy-nominated and award-winning artists for a night of powerful performances, uplifting music, and spiritual renewal that promises to leave audiences inspired and moved.
Grammy Award-winning artist Hammond is a pioneering figure in Gospel music, credited with creating the Urban Praise & Worship genre. As a solo artist and member of the group Commissioned, Hammond has sold more than 8 million albums, earning accolades such as Stellar, Dove and Grammy awards. Beyond music, Hammond has also ventured into film production, launching several multimedia projects while continuing to tour and inspire audiences worldwide with his powerful, faith-driven messages.
Grammy-nominated singer and songwriter Todd Dulaney, once drafted by the New York Mets, left behind a career in professional sports to follow his calling in Gospel music. Renowned for his powerful, scripture-inspired worship anthems, Dulaney has released several chart-topping albums, including “Your Great Name” and “Anthems & Glory.” As the CEO of Dulaneyland Music, a virtual music production company, he continues to push boundaries in the Gospel music industry with his latest project, “The Journey Continues.”
James Fortune, a Grammy-nominated singer, songwriter, and producer hailing from the Houston area, is known for his distinctive “emcee” style inspired by Kirk Franklin. Over the course of his career, he has released 12 albums, including “My Life” from 2022, which reflects his personal struggles with depression and anxiety. In addition to his music, Fortune serves as Creative Pastor for Rock City Church and co-hosts “Fortune’s Live Talent” on YouTube, while balancing family life with his wife and seven children.
Tickets will be available at Ticketmaster.com or in person at the Georgia’s Own Box Office located at the Albany Civic Center on Friday starting at 10 a.m. There will be an exclusive, online only, presale beginning on Wednesday at 10 a.m. that will continue until Thursday at 10 p.m. For additional information about the show, visit FlintRiverEntertainmentComplex.com or contact Michael Fowler at (229) 344-2253.
