ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 15 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Speeding on the 1000 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Recovered property on the 700 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Battery on the 2200 block of South Washington Street;
— Driving without valid Georgia license on the 1800 block of East Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Pedestrian soliciting rides or business on the 300 block of North Slappey Boulevard;
— Burglary on the 1800 block of Sussex Court;
— Aggravated assault on the 1300 block of Mobile Avenue and the 400 block of West Oglethorpe Boulevard;
— Aggravated assault against a peace officer on the 300 block of Cason Street;
— Criminal trespass on the 400 block of Station Crossing Road, the 1100 block of University Street and the 400 block of Heard Avenue;
— Theft by taking on the 900 block of Moultrie Road;
— Interfering with a city officer on the 1200 block of Van Deman Street;
— Assault on the 900 block of Cherry Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 22 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Family violence on the 6000 block of Hardup Road and the 4800 block of Pinto Drive;
— Harassing phone calls on the 400 block of South Westover Boulevard and the 1500 block of South Mock Road;
— Burglary on the 3700 block of Mockingbird Road and the 6100 block of Elliot Drive;
— Auto accident on the 3000 block of Sylvester Highway and the 4500 block of Acree Avenue;
— Suspicious auto on the 600 block of Live Oak Circle;
— Lost property on the 4900 block of Hill Road;
— Unwanted guest on the 500 block of Flowing Well Road;
— Traffic control on the 4700 block of Cooper Street;
— Animal investigation on the 3200 block of Higgins Drive;
— Terroristic threats on the 900 block of Phoebe Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 16 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. Incidents included building fires, a gas leak, alarm activations, an animal problem, an aircraft standby, a shorted water heater, unauthorized burning and smoke scares.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 60 various medical calls on Thursday, available reports show. Incidents included three chest pain complaints, two miscellaneous pain calls, seven respiratory issues, two altered mental status calls, one mental health issue, one OB/labor call, one stroke, two diabetic calls and 21 various medical issues.
Trauma calls included five falls, four auto accident victims, two lacerations, two assaults and one gunshot victim.
