This isn’t your everyday monkey bread! Inside each flaky biscuit is a sweet cream cheese filling surprise. It’s also layered with a brown sugar glaze that bakes into the bread. The nuts on top add a nice crunch and are caramelized. They take on a praline flavor. Whether your guests pull it apart or slice it, this monkey bread will disappear in no time.
Ingredients
- 1 c packed brown sugar
- 1/2 c butter, cubed
- 2 tube 10-count refrigerated buttermilk flaky biscuits
- 1/2 c white sugar
- 1 pkg cream cheese cut into 20 cubes (8 oz)
- 1 Tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1 1/2 c chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
