Violations: Observed food not protected from cross-contamination (ready-to-eat chicken wings stored on the shelf with raw chicken). PIC arranged the raw foods according to cooking temperatures and placed ready-to-eat foods on a separate shelf. Corrected on-site, new violation. Observed the fruit and vegetable sink being used to store dirty bowls. PIC remove the bowls from the fruit and vegetable sink. Repeat violation.

Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill & Bar, 637 Westover Blvd.
Score: 98 Grade: A
Violations: Observed light bulb in the liquor storage closet that was not shielded, coated or otherwise shatter resistant. PIC will have the light shield replaced in the storage closet. Repeat violation. Correct by Sept. 21.
