Parts of Tifton ag museum to be closed in August for seasonal updating
Business offices, conference facilities and store will be open as usual next month

TIFTON — Part of the Georgia Museum of Agriculture and Historic Village at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College will be closed in August for scheduled seasonal updates, with the affected portions reopening Labor Day weekend.
Museum Director Garrett Boone said the historic village, gallery, and the museum will be closed Aug.1-Sept. 2.
For parts of the facility, it’ll be business as usual in August. The administrative offices will remain open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays. Conference facilities also will remain available throughout the month of August, and the Country Store will continue to operate on its normal schedule of 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays–Saturdays.
