Like many, I was disappointed when The Herald announced its new format. I contacted the Editor, asked some specific questions, which he readily answered. He gave me some promises that so far have been kept. I am impressed with the bigger paper, giving us our comics and puzzles, and more local stories. I’m in.

Re: Herald’s illegal dump report: Two and one half years ago police investigated, they confronted dumper, charges filed, wrote commissioners, never heard from officials again. Problem is with Code Enforcement and resolve … there is none! Two more occasions, same result. KADB has no authority.

There is no need for any border bill. Biden can close the border with the stroke of a pen. Instead of blaming Trump, he could reinstate all the border protections that he cancelled on Day 1 of his disastrous administration.

Before becoming U.S. vice president, Kamala Harris kept black men in prison past their release date for cheap state labor in California. News reports show many black voters are abandoning the Democrat Party.

Squawker is wrong. The Herald is not left enough for an emerging blue state. We need people like Steve Roberts to call out the lying republi-shams who claim they want border security then say nothing as a negotiated deal is killed. If the Dougherty County taxpayers are only responsible for 10 grand of the bill, I say give McCoy everything he’s due. The deal should also include Heard having to vacate his post as well.

There is a competition to see who can come up with and execute the stupidest, most outlandish, act and/or statement. The winner could be Carlson, Trump, DeSantis, Greene, Boebert, Gaetz, or others. There are a bunch of middle- or high-schoolers who could compete but they don’t have the media coverage.

Today’s impeachment vote proves every Democrat and four Republicans are as crooked as Mayorkas. We must rid ourselves of the Republicans voting against impeachment. They have violated their honesty value.

By the way, on the new three-day newspaper, will the Herald now force the real estate companies to advertise in one of those three days, since you will no longer have a Sunday paper? We are now learning the three P’s of the new Herald: Power, power, power!

For the last 21 years my wife has complained about me not putting the cap on the toothpaste. I decided to make her happy and for a solid week I always capped the toothpaste. I expected her to thank me but she asked why I had stopped brushing my teeth. Marriage is a difficult relationship.

Yours Truly squawked Sunday that Republicans can’t talk about accomplishments, because they have none. What has the Biden administration done to help us? Electric cars, ceiling fans, dishwashers, high gas prices, solar panels, and for heaven’s sake, don’t leave out the mess at the border.

Maybe we were actually better off when we didn’t have a speaker. Johnson probably won’t make it through the end of the session, and if not, in 2024 the Reflublicans will lose the House anyway
