Despite temperatures hovering in the mid-30s dozens of runners take off on the 5k portion of Saturday’s Jingle Bell Jog to benefit the Children’s Miracle Network. This year, the Phoebe Putnery Memorial Hospital-sponsored event joined with the Tift Park Community Market, which helped drawn close to 1,000 people to the downtown Albany park.
Despite a considerable chill a festive and giving spirit was in the air Saturday morning at Albany’s Tift Park as citizens gathered to participate in the 29th annual Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital Jingle Bell Jog, which this year was joined by a special holiday edition of the Tift Community Market.
