ALBANY, Ga: An Albany Water, Gas & Light Commission crew has placed the city’s official Christmas tree in the courthouse square after harvesting the tree from an Albany home earlier this morning.

The tree, a 30-foot-tall Leyland Cypress, was donated by the residents at 1903 Colquitt Avenue.

WG&L crews are putting the final touches on the tree.
