ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 19 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Criminal trespass on the 1600 block of North Monroe Street and the 600 block of Sands Drive;
— Criminal damage to property on the 1100 block of Gary Avenue and the 600 block of West Society Avenue;
— Forgery on the 2400 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Theft by shoplifting on the 2600 block of Dawson Road and the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Theft by taking on the 900 block of West Tift Avenue, the 10 block of Dobbs Drive and the 300 block of South Shadowlawn Drive;
— Armed robbery on the 1500 block of West Lincoln Avenue;
— Public indecency on the 800 block of Willie Pitts Jr. Road;
— Disorderly conduct on the 800 block of Willie Pitts Jr. Road and the 700 block of Clark Avenue;
— Possession of spice/synthetic marijuana on the 2300 block of West Gordon Avenue;
— Burglary on the 1300 block of East First Avenue and the 900 block of Willow Wood Drive;
— Acquisition of gasoline without paying on the 200 block of Cordele Road;
— Terroristic threats and acts on the 300 block of West Highland Avenue;
— Entering auto on the 1000 block of Dunes Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: The Dougherty County Police Department responded to at least 15 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Family violence on the 2700 block of Quail Run Road and the 2700 block of Old Ivy Lane;
— Suspicious auto on the 700 block of Philema Road;
— Discharging firearms on the 600 block of Holly Drive;
— Auto accident on the 500 block of Leary Road and the intersection of Sylvester Highway and Pine Bluff Road;
— Harassing phone calls on the 3200 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Suspicious person on the 3000 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Missing person on the 3200 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Suspicious auto at the intersection of Radium Springs Road and Williamsburg Road;
— Hit and run accident on the 2100 block of Habersham Road;
— Abandoned auto on the 3900 block of Sylvester Highway;
— Assist to motorist on the 1700 block of Cordele Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least 11 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. Incidents included alarm system activations, public service, bomb scares, an assist to police, and extrication of victims from vehicle.
DOUGHERTY EMS: The Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 50 various medical calls on Wednesday, available reports show. Incidents included three abdominal pain complaints, two altered mental status calls, 11 respiratory issues, one burn incidence, two chest pain complaints, two diabetic calls, eight general sickness complaints, two miscellaneous pain complaints, two seizures and one fainting.
Trauma calls included three assaults, seven falls and one unknown problem/man down.
