Albany unemployment declines

Albany, GA. – The Georgia Department of Labor reported today that the preliminary unadjusted unemployment rate in metro Albany decreased to 10.5 percent in September.
This is four-tenths of a percentage point lower than the August rate. The area unemployment rate in September 2009 was 10.2 percent.
