Dougherty County police searching for stolen car, theft suspect

ALBANY — The Dougherty County Police Department is seeking a stolen car and the man accused of taking it from a driver who gave him a ride.
The silver 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer was reported stolen at about 1:15 p.m. Monday, police said.
An officer who responded to 2806 N. Jefferson St. was told by the female victim that the man took the car at gunpoint. She described him as a black male between 5-foot6 and 6 feet tall with a muscular build and dreadlocks.
