Downtown Albany Verge yard sale extended

ALBANY — A weekend yard sale at a former downtown boutique has been extended to Thursday and Friday to allow shoppers a final opportunity to pick up clothes bargains in a dollar sale.
Owners of downtown’s former Verge consignment boutique at 110 Washington St. will open the establishment’s doors 5 p.m.-8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, offering remaining clothing items for $1. A limited number of other items in the store, which is being cleared for a new tenant, is also available.
A third of the funds collected from the sale were to be donated to local charitable organizations.
