ALBANY POLICE: The Albany Police Department responded to at least 13 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Thefts by taking on the 300 block of Cordele Road, the 1600 block of Gillespie Avenue and the 1700 block of Malone Drive;
— Disorderly conduct on the 100 block of North Washington Street and the 400 block of South Slappey Boulevard;
— No insurance on the 1100 block of South Van Buren Street;
— Cocaine possession on the 1300 block of East Broad Avenue;
— Simple battery on the 1600 block of Gardner Drive;
— Injured person on the 2600 block of Boynton Lane;
— Criminal trespass on the 500 block of Don Cutler Sr. Drive;
— Loitering/prowling on the 2500 block of Cardinal Street;
— Discharging a firearm on another’s property on the 2400 block of Brierwood Drive;
— Missing person on the 1300 block of Avalon Avenue.
DOUGHERTY POLICE: Dougherty County Police responded to at least seven incidents on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Contact persons on the 2200 block of Duitman Road, the 2100 block of Habersham Road and the 1500 block of South Mock Road;
— Assist motorist at the intersection of Holly Drive and Moultrie Road;
— Fraud on the 5100 block of Old Dawson Road;
— Suspicious auto on the 200 block of Skywater Boulevard;
— Panhandling on the 1400 block of South Mock Road.
ALBANY FIRE: The Albany Fire Department responded to at least five incidents on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. Incidents included:
— Medical assists on the 2600 block of Boynton Lane and the 1000 block of Relswood Terrace;
— Power line down on the 1100 block of Crawford Drive;
— Passenger vehicle fire on the 1200 block of North Westover Boulevard;
— Unauthorized burning on the 1400 block of East Second Avenue.
DOUGHERTY EMS: Dougherty County EMS responded to at least 54 calls on Thursday and the early hours of Friday, available reports show. Calls included six respiratory issue calls, five chest pain calls, three altered mental status calls, three diabetic issue calls, three seizure calls, three miscellaneous pain calls, one faint call, one labor issue call, and 29 various medical calls. EMS also responded to seven trauma calls that included four falls, two lacerations and one auto accident victim.
